The Healthy Schools Recognition Program
The Ministry of Education has launched its Healthy Schools Recognition Program by issuing a challenge to all Ontario schools to become even healthier by implementing at least one new program or activity in 2006/07.
To help schools accept the challenge and join in the recognition program, the government has developed a variety of tools, including a chart called "Foundations For A Healthy School". Schools will be able to use this chart and other helpful information to develop healthy activities and programs for their students and staff.
