Halton’s Youth Action Alliance (YAA) - Under the Smoke-Free Ontario Strategy, the Ministry of Health Promotion is funding a community-based youth group known as Halton’s Youth Action Alliance (name will be changing soon to reflect their identity).
The Halton Council on Smoking or Health will provide community support, resources and plan joint-initiatives and events with the YAA. For example, the YAA and HCSH hope to plan a Smoke-Free Movies Event to highlight the role of the entertainment industry in modeling smoking behaviour and brand messaging.
